Surprise proposals lead the business, with engagements and lifestyle sessions alongside, and the work mostly happens in golden light along the coast, from Sunset Cliffs and Coronado up to Del Mar and Torrey Pines.

Stephanie and Son Le, husband and wife, started Last Minute Photoshoot in 2021 after both were furloughed during COVID. Stephanie shoots and edits. She grew up in Los Angeles, where her dad's camera helped support the family, and a photography course in San Diego after high school changed the way she looked at it.
The photos from their own wedding left LaRon and Mia Kampka unhappy, so in June 2022 they started PKA, and their Little Italy team now numbers about ten. LaRon studied at the Brooks Institute of Photography, Mia came from commercial advertising and design, and most of the team shoot both photo and video.
Replica Photography is Mirjana's business, and San Diego surprise proposals are most of it, but Mirjana also shoots further afield in places like Joshua Tree and Yosemite. Mirjana grew up in Serbia, studied history, and went professional just before COVID.
