Jillian Carruth has had a camera in her hand for as long as she can remember. She has run Jillian Marie Photography in New Orleans since 2011 with her husband, Bruce, who built his first website for a photographer when he was a teenager and now handles the studio's operations and video. A team of photographers and editors works with them.

Lady Walker was born and raised in New Orleans and spent years as a wedding photographer without ever feeling she fit that world. Her first proposal job came in 2013. She hid in the bushes in City Park, across a bayou, while a client showed his girlfriend a photo album from a secret trip to Spain, where he had asked her father for her hand.
Ash traveled through more than 30 countries, and once hitchhiked across the country, before New Orleans became home. She's been a professional photographer for more than a decade and is a queer mom of two. She's also in a few Mardi Gras krewes. Her site goes out of its way to say that couples of any kind are welcome without having to explain themselves.
