It was the Fourth of July weekend, exactly one year after Christy and I had first met.

I first encountered the band Lucius through a good friend of mine named Nick Stankus. While in Chicago this past December, Nick and I spent some time driving around listening to music and catching up.

I began planning about one month prior. I searched for a place that sells real rose pedals and I found one that would give me 700 rose pedals.

Each relationship is based on a certain ingredient that will ensure that it either lasts for a life time or sorrowfully doesn’t.

We decided to celebrate 2012/2013 new years in Dubai that year. He proposed 30 minutes to midnight.

About a month into my relationship with Mary, I quoted a song saying "I want to love somebody, love somebody like you." At our 6th month, I told her I loved her, and she said the same to me.

From the moment I first met Nicole, she knocked my socks off and I knew that I was a lucky man to have the opportunity to sweep her off of her feet.

“Where’d that puzzle come from?” I asked when I came home from Brick Street in Oxford late Friday afternoon.

Thursday, April 26th, was an eventful afternoon at The Martin Agency in NY.

So, the day it happened was pretty much the definition of a normal day for us. It was a Monday night, and I had just gotten off work.
