Sarah has lived in Paris, London and Singapore, and she has been photographing people for more than 15 years, starting in Paris, where she learned how much natural light can do for a picture. Sydney is home now, and the proposals she shoots run from sunrise at the Opera House to a quiet beach in the hour before sunset.
The planning is the larger part of what you're booking. She helps choose a spot on light and privacy, works out how to keep clear of the crowds at the landmarks, sets the cues for the day and keeps a backup plan in case of rain. Then she arrives early and blends in with everyone else at the harbour until you've asked. Relaxed engagement portraits follow straight after, and about a week later there's a private session where you watch a slideshow of the images and choose the ones you want, as files, prints or an album.
