Sunrise Engagement Stories

My and my boyfriend Carl had decided to "become an item" on August 23rd 2002. After a few years, we agreed that if we were together for 10 years, we would celebrate by going to Hawaii!

In 2004 I met Eric Hanssen through a mutual buddy of ours, he shortly after became one of my best guy friends as we grew up our lives took different paths but we never lost touch. In 2009 God brought us back together and the flame was lit in a much different way than before.

Ever year Brad (my fiance) and I take a boat ride on Lake Huron, MI at sunrise. So this year when he suggested we go for a sunrise cruise before we moved I thought sure, no big deal.
