Romantic Engagement Stories

I went to my fiance's house and he asked me if I was ready to go. I didnt know that we had plans to go any where, but he blind folded me and we drove for about 15- 20 minutes.

It started on 9/12/2009 at 7:30am, as I got into my truck to go to work, there was a single stem rose with a ring box,wrapped, on my seat. My heart was beating like you wouldnt believe.

Ever year Brad (my fiance) and I take a boat ride on Lake Huron, MI at sunrise. So this year when he suggested we go for a sunrise cruise before we moved I thought sure, no big deal.

My wife loves photography and she loves lighthouses. One night while traveling in New England, we came across a lighthouse shining in the dark.

We knew we were the ones for each other from the first night we met, when I wished on a shooting star to keep him forever. A week later we set a date for our wedding.

I consider myself to be somewhat of a trickster.

In the spring of 08 I gave up looking for a good guy. It seemed like every time I started to like a guy, something always went wrong.

My birthday fell on a Monday this year and being a high school teacher, there was no opportunity to celebrate that day having to wake up early the following morning.

"Our place" is Morton Arboretum. We go there every season several times a year for picnics, hikes, taking in the fall colors, playing in the snow, etc.

It all started on a royal caribbean cruise.. 2 week long cruise all around beautiful oceans from puerto rico.. to jamaica.. to st marteen!! so many more islands..
