Restaurant Engagement Stories

I moved out to New York City for grad school in the summer of 2011. I grew up in Downey, CA my entire life and I needed a change of scenery.

I first encountered the band Lucius through a good friend of mine named Nick Stankus. While in Chicago this past December, Nick and I spent some time driving around listening to music and catching up.

Well we had been dating for almost five years and had talked about getting married several times. But I always told him that I did not want to have any idea when he was going to propose.

This past summer my fiancee spent majority of the summer in Afghanistan for work. When he arrived back, he stated that we needed a vacation and I couldnt of agreed more.

On July 2, 2011 I decided to take my family on a last minute get away. We traveled over to Myrtle Beach, S.C.

When my fiancé proposed, I was not expecting it. We went out to dinner with my parents at a locally owned pizza joint. It's not a very clean place, but we have some friends there.

Well the first time I was going to propose to my girlfirend i planned on proposing at a Tina Turner but I was so nervous and I was afraid of what if she says no in front of all of those people.

It was 12-21-07, which is also my fiancees b-day. We went out to eat at one of our favorite Italian places for his bday.

Chris and I were asked to attend a friends band at a fine restruant. We been having problems for the last couple of months so this was our first night out for a while.

Getting Engaged is such a exciting time. A time where words can't express how a girl feels...it's something a girl dreams about all her life and here's my story
