Snow Engagement Stories

It was the day after Valentines Day. My (now Husband) and I got snowed in at my parents house. He told me he wanted to go and play in the snow.

I am studding to be an English teacher and in one of my classes we were encouraged to freewrite throughout the week.

i wasn't expecting it. we went to Chickamauga Battlefield in GA. there was 3 inches of snow on the ground. we got out and walked around in it. and walked thru the woods.

"Our place" is Morton Arboretum. We go there every season several times a year for picnics, hikes, taking in the fall colors, playing in the snow, etc.

I knew (without question) that I had found my soulmate, my other half, my true love. But I NEVER, I mean NEVER, would have thought it would happen like this. . . .
