Laraine and I met 7 years ago. We have been through more things in life than a married couple of 25 years have had. Being that she and I are different religions, it has been a tough road for us.
It was on our 8th year anniversary of dating and I took her down to Mombasa Island to a restaurant that was in a hotel (Mamba Village) - great food that overlooked a private beach the resort owned.
On July 2, 2011 I decided to take my family on a last minute get away. We traveled over to Myrtle Beach, S.C.

In 2004 I met Eric Hanssen through a mutual buddy of ours, he shortly after became one of my best guy friends as we grew up our lives took different paths but we never lost touch. In 2009 God brought us back together and the flame was lit in a much different way than before.
In Cuba, Brendan had been planning to propose the first night at a fondue restaurant.
I'm not engaged yet, but I know it's around the corner from a hint I got from a youtube video :):).
