Santorini Proposals is a family business in Fira that has been planning proposals since 1996, and the same people who answer your email meet you in Fira and stand a few steps away when you ask. The standard package is three hours with a photographer, first a casual shoot with the blue domes behind you and then a peaceful place over the caldera with 30 candles in a heart, with transport from your hotel and champagne. In the photo from one of those the MARRY ME letters are the big light-bulb kind, there's a wall of red roses behind the gazebo, a red carpet lined with candles in glass jars, and fountain fireworks going off on both sides. Their advice is to propose on your second day, after the jet lag, and to wear comfortable shoes and bring something to keep your hair in place, because of the uphill, the wind and the crowds.
