Nicole Chan left management consulting in 2010 and has been a full-time Boston wedding photographer ever since. She's an introvert and observes more than she speaks, and at a proposal that's most of the job. Planning is mostly done by email, for discretion. On the day she poses as a tourist or blends into the background with a long lens, and she takes creative risks but always gets the safe shots first. Once you've had your yes there's a short engagement session. For one proposal on Frog Pond she brought two friends along, her rent-a-friends, and everyone in the park probably thought she was taking a zillion photos of these two guys when she was really shooting through them at the couple.
