Ippei and Janine Photography

A two-photographer team, in Tokyo since 2006, working in both English and Japanese. Ippei is Japanese and from the city. Janine is Australian, from Melbourne, and the two of them met in Amsterdam twenty years ago. They would rather shoot outdoors where no permit is needed, and where one is needed they say plainly that arranging it and paying for it is yours to do. Indoors, a table in a bar costs a drink and eats into the shooting time. The surprise package runs to an hour across one or two central locations, and you have the edited gallery the same evening. Their usual working radius is the Yamanote circle, further for the cost of getting there. Evening sessions lean toward Asakusa, Ameyoko Market and Akihabara.
