Chicago Flower Wall is a decor rental company run by Ashley, who started it after helping plan her own wedding and struggling to find good floral decor in Chicago at a sensible price. It began with a single flower wall, and the showroom is out in Hickory Hills, by appointment only. Proposals are now a line of their own, sold piece by piece: a six-foot heart arch covered in red or pink roses, four-foot light-up letters spelling MARRY ME (or the full WILL YOU MARRY ME), a neon sign that hangs inside the arch, a red runner, candles, petals, or a picnic blanket with pillows and lanterns.

The team delivers and sets up before you arrive and has left before your partner gets there. Breakdown can be booked too. There's no photographer in the price, and you'll want to hire one, since a six-foot arch of roses is there to be photographed. They'll time the setup around whoever you book.

Rooftops are what they push hardest, at places like LondonHouse and Cindy's at the Chicago Athletic Association as well as private hotel terraces. They have set up at LondonHouse and say to ask them about it. Check with the venue first. Most rooftops allow a freestanding arch, candles and petals if you arrange it ahead, and the candles come in flameless versions for the wind up there. The site also has pages on proposing at the Adler Planetarium, Gibsons Italia and the Botanic Garden, though those are tips about the places rather than setups they've done.
