This past summer my fiancee spent majority of the summer in Afghanistan for work. When he arrived back, he stated that we needed a vacation and I couldnt of agreed more. Within days he planed a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth- Disney World. Two weeks later, early on a Sunday morning we left. That Wednesday we went to Magic Kingdom. In the morning he surprised me with dinner reservations at Cinderella's Castle. After a day in the park, we arrived at the castle for our reservations. I was amazed to see that we got the best seat in the house. After eating an amazing dinner, which he bearly ate, a covered plate arrived to the table. I just believed it to be my cheesecake however when they removed the lid there was a plate covered in rose petals and an engraved Cinderella glass slipper. Inside the slipper was a diamond ring. He got, came to my side, and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
It was a day I will never forget. A professional photographer was there who captured every second of it. I am so excited to take our children there one day and show them where their dad asked me to marry him!
