Sophie Ratner is a trained bench jeweler, and every ring is handmade in New York's Diamond District with her overseeing the work. Her engagement designs lean vintage: old mine cushions in low bezels, Art Deco baguettes, Georgian and Victorian shapes, mostly in recycled 14k gold with lab-grown diamonds. For a custom ring she will source a natural or lab-grown stone or reset an heirloom, and you can try on her samples at the NYC showroom by appointment.
